Endangered fish and amphibians (with one tiny reptile included) drawn on soluble starch, each hang by a hair over the water that will dissolve them. The title refers to our current cultures’ misunderstanding of past cultures in odd or funny ways, as paradigms, languages, and bodies of knowledge shift and evolve; and it also refers to the impending, horrific loss of species to which we are actively contributing.
